
Te Tūranga | About the Role
We’re looking for an organised and motivated individual to join our Group Engineering team as a Project Administrator.
In this role, you’ll provide essential administration support to ensure engineering projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and effectively.
You’ll work closely with our Regional Project Engineer and the wider engineering team, coordinating tasks and keeping projects moving smoothly across multiple sites. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects within a progressive team and gain exposure to our industrial operations.
This role is required to cover a Project Secondment, so will be fixed-term until 1 May 2026.
We are open to applicants based from a variety of locations, ideally in Christchurch or Dunedin
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across a range of engineering projects, including the setup of Projects within our systems, and the creation of Purchase Orders
- Assist with project coordination, documentation, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Maintain project data and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support communication between project stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams.
- Help ensure projects meet safety, quality, and timeline expectations.
Ōu Pūkenga | About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your work.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and problem solve.
- Confidence working with Microsoft Office, databases, and accounting systems (experience with Microsoft NAV is advantageous).
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a positive “can-do” attitude.
- Experience in project administration or related support roles would be an advantage.
- High level of financial literacy, understanding the impacts on commercial projects.
